This is an absolutely delightful AirBnB—one of my favourites in over ten years of AirBnB stays. There's a real warmth to the interior. The kitchen was a delight for cooking and eating. The living room was perfect for relaxing. The outdoor seating had a stunning view of the mountains on Vancouver Island and the water. Could walk down to the coastal path in five minutes. Walkable access to the restaurants and a grocery store. It was a perfect place for two people to stay while visiting family. Would absolutely stay again.

My family and I had such a wonderful stay. We loved the heritage home with beautiful renovations. It is obviously well kept and clean. Had everything we needed and more. The backyard felt like an oasis even in the winter and we enjoyed the hot tub while storm watching. Centrally located including a very short walk to electric vehicle charging which was very convenient. We hope to be repeat customers while coming to visit family in Powell River in the future!

We really enjoyed this place, especially soaking in the early morning sun on the big comfy outdoor couch. The Nespresso machine was also a huge bonus. The appliances in this place are notably fancy as well, which we enjoyed. The only part we didn't enjoy so much was the second bedroom- it felt odd sleeping in a child's space. I know that it is noted in the listing that the owners stay here at times, but sleeping in the child's room felt a little weird for us. It felt kind of like staying in a strange spare room at a distant relatives house.. the bed was small and not the comfiest, the sheets weren't soft, and the blinds don't go down all the way so there was no way to keep out the light. I'm sure many people wouldn't mind this sleeping situation, but I feel like it's something worth noting! If I'm ever in this area again and in need of only one bed, I'd definitely stay here again :)

Jaime’s place is so nice!! The home is centrally located, a short walk to the beach and beautiful sea walks as well as downtown’s main streets. The bed is super comfortable, the decore tasteful and comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom beautifully appointed. We loved our stay there and were very appreciative of Jamie’s flexibility in allowing us to extend our time there when we needed to. We were in the area shopping for homes and more than once we laughed about wishing we could just buy and live in Jamie’s house, exactly as it is! We’ll stay there again if needed and recommend it highly to friends and family.

My wife and I booked a trip to Powell River about a month ago and changed our accommodation from a small motel in town to Jamie's place and we are so happy we did. The house is in a great location and we were able to walk 10-15 minutes to a bunch of different restaurants and shops each day. The house itself is clean and comfortable and is stocked with everything you need to have a good time. We were particularly happy the fridge had an ice machine, as we spent several of our afternoons just relaxing in the back yard with a glass or two of white wine. The sunsets from the backyard were amazing. Having an air conditioner in the house helped as well, as during our day the temps were closed to 30 C. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon.

We had such an amazing stay at the Fairmont! It is a true gem in Powell River. The house was gorgeous and clean, the bed was so so comfy and the amenities were awesome (hot tub, bbq, propane fire-pit). Also, the views were unbeatable. Sitting in the hot tub and watching the sunset was phenomenal! Jamie is a wonderful and friendly host, and is very accommodating. Jamie's place was a peaceful, fully stocked and comfortable home for a home-away-from-home vacation. My partner worked from home and had good wifi for video calls. I appreciated the bright and sunny windows to do some painting and reading. Jamie was responsive over text if we had questions. The sleep was extremely comfortable, especially after a hot tub. Jamie's is very close to local shops and restaurants, as well as the bigger stores up the road. We really appreciated being able to bring our pup and have her play in the backyard. There's a big dog park up the road. Specific things we loved about Jamie's: speakers we could play from our phones, his record player, the outdoor fireplace and hot tub, the deep sink with a spray nozzle, lots of space in the fridge, huge bright windows. Definitely coming back here!

Fantastic private home in a great location! Everything about this place is thoughtful and comfortable, and finished to a high spec level. Everything was clean and organized, with everything you need, plus lots of extra 'little touches' to make our stay as worry-free as possible. Loved the turntable and good selection of vinyl records too! But the highlight of the place is the backyard patio. The photos don't do the ocean view justice (which you can also see well thru the big picture windows in the living room and kitchen), and sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset over the Pacific was heavenly. Highly recommend this place and hope to come back!

Jamie's home, or "The Fairmont" come as advertised. It's an immaculate, beautiful spot a stone's throw from the Westview ferry terminal and overlooking the Salish Sea. The home has everything you need, Jamie even has some toiletries in the bathroom in case you forget anything.
